The Technical Manager shall provide technical expertise and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The focus of the role will be on optimizing and improving manufacturing processes to ensure safety, sustainability, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality production.

Responsibilities

Technical Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of batch manufacturing processes, engineering principles, and relevant technologies. Use scientific, mathematical, and engineering principles to improve efficiency of processes and solve process problems. Carry out the basic and detailed engineering for all the major and minor projects for Process improvement, viz. Capacity enhancement, energy optimization, sustainable projects etc. Participate and conduct PRA (Process risk assessment) for new processes and support for implementation of technical control measures.

Process Optimization:

Develop and implement strategies to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve productivity.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.

Communication:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and other stakeholders.

Project Management:

Ability to plan, organize, and manage projects effectively.

Continuous Improvement:

A mindset focused on continuous improvement and a drive to optimize processes. Identifies opportunities for improvement, cost saving and implementation with support from Plant Manager.

Data Analysis:

* Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
