Job Description

The Technical Manager will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of a project or team. This includes planning, directing, and coordinating all activities related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of technical systems and products. The Technical Manager ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards. They also provide technical guidance and support to team members, while staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements.


Key Responsibilities:







1. Technical Site Visits: Conduct technical site visits to assess the condition, value, and suitability of properties submitted for loans. This includes properties for Loan Against Property, Home Loans, APF, Construction Loans, and others.


2. Valuation Reports: Prepare detailed valuation reports for each property, providing a comprehensive evaluation within the defined TAT.


3. Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with property valuation firms, appraisers, and technical experts.


Collaborate with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate valuation reports, managing the workflow and communication effectively.

Coordination of vendor payment bills and ensure checking of bills and timely payments.

4. Utilize expertise in identifying potential fraud cases and contribute for vigilant measures


5. Legal Document Analysis: Examine legal property documents, including Legal Reports, Sale Deeds, Gift Deeds, General Power of Attorney (GPA), and Agreement to Sell (ATS), ensuring their compliance and authenticity.


6. Compliance and Regulations: Demonstrate expertise in state building laws, master plans, and zonal plans. Maintain strong relationships with local authorities and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


7. Provide technical insights into risk assessment to support credit decisions.


8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines related to property valuations and due diligence.


9. Prepare detailed technical reports on property assessments and valuations, highlighting key findings and recommendations.


10. Regularly review and analyze the LAP loan portfolio to assess the performance and condition of collateral properties.


Qualifications and Skills:







Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications or coursework in property valuations and due diligence are advantageous.




Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in technical roles related to property assessments, appraisals, or valuations, preferably within the financial services.




Strong understanding of property-related regulations, construction standards, and valuation practices.
