Technical Manager - Electronics NPD Quality

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing complaints, identifying root causes, and delivering effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction for instrument cluster and driver information system products. Implement and monitor quality systems such as APQP, PPAP, and other applicable controls to ensure compliance with automotive industry standards. Utilize strong analytical capabilities to identify issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement solutions to address quality concerns during product development, specifically for cluster systems d. Apply quality tools such as 7QC Tools, 8D, and RCA to drive continuous improvement and resolve issues related to instrument clusters and electronic assemblies Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFTs) and customers to support smooth new product introductions, ensuring all quality objectives are met for driver information systems. Ensure product designs are in line with quality assurance best practices, with a focus on Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and seamless integration into automotive dashboards

M. E / M. Tech in ECE/EEE/EIE

EXPERIENCE

10 - 15 years

TECHNICAL DETAILS


- Proven expertise in New Product Development (NPD) Quality systems, including APQP, PPAP, 5 Core Tools, IATF, and a solid understanding of instrument cluster and driver information system technologies.

- Strong experience in Failure Analysis, Circuit Analysis, and troubleshooting of PCBs, electronic components, and driver information systems.

- Hands-on experience in both software and hardware validation, with a focus on electronic display and information system technologies

- Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach, particularly in managing quality expectations related to electronic clusters
