Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Backend Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for server-side web application logic and integration of the front-end part. You will work closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience. You should have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones. You will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions, and you should also have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain server-side logic ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Implement data storage solutions and ensure data security. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.

Required Skills

Proficiency in server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net. Understanding of database management and SQL. Knowledge of best practices in data security. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Knowledge of Docker or other containerization technologies. Understanding of version control systems like Git. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of microservices architecture. Experience with test-driven development (TDD). Understanding of RESTful APIs and API communications. Proficiency in serverless architecture.
