Position Summary:

We are looking for a

Technical Lead - DevOps

with deep hands-on expertise in

Azure networking and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

to lead and scale our cloud network environments. In this role, you will guide engineers, collaborate with cloud network architects, and play a key part in designing, operating, and troubleshooting complex

hub-and-spoke Azure network topologies

. The ideal candidate brings

strong Terraform experience, practical networking knowledge, leadership qualities

, and a proactive mindset focused on reliability, performance, and secure cloud operations.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with cloud and network architects

to implement, operate, and optimize Azure networking topologies, ensuring secure and scalable hub-and-spoke environments.

Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Azure network components

across multiple environments, proactively identifying performance, availability, and connectivity issues.

Consume, extend, and optimize Terraform modules

to enable consistent, repeatable, and automated infrastructure deployments with strong state management practices.

Debug complex connectivity and configuration issues

in Azure networking resources using native diagnostic tools, logs, and monitoring insights to drive fast resolution.

Participate in incident response and perform detailed root-cause analysis

, driving long-term fixes and improving platform resilience and reliability.

Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation

for network architectures, configuration changes, runbooks, and infrastructure improvements to support operational excellence.

Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

and take full ownership of assigned network components, ensuring high standards of reliability, security, and accountability.

Act as a technical lead for your domain

, setting best practices, influencing design decisions, and guiding teammates through reviews, knowledge sharing, and high-impact technical problem-solving (without people management responsibilities).

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong hands-on expertise in

Azure networking

(VNets, routing, Private Link, VNet peering, VPN/ER, load balancers, firewalls, etc.). Proven experience supporting

hub-and-spoke or large-scale Azure network environments

. Expert-level skills in

Terraform

, including module authoring and state management. Working knowledge of

Azure Policy

, governance, and compliance enforcement. Ability to

diagnose connectivity and configuration issues

using Azure-native tools. Strong communication, ownership mindset, and ability to work both independently and cross-functionally. Experience leading or mentoring a technical team.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with

Virtual WAN, Application Gateway, Azure Firewall, WAF

, or cross-tenant networking. Experience with

CI/CD integration

for Terraform workflows. Understanding of

Azure RBAC, security controls

, and network segmentation concepts. Exposure to

hybrid or multi-cloud connectivity

scenarios.

Education

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
