Currently CTG R&D is looking for senior developers to work on cloud native software for the Telecommunication Industry. The candidate will be part of international team spread across the world. We are looking for an Automation Lead to join us! In this role, you will be applying advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business problems particularly in Service Assurance area and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations require an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to less experienced employees. In a typical day as an Automation Lead, you would: Lead multiple project teams of software engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of product/platform engineering that includes ideation, architecture, design, analysis, coding, testing, integration, deployment and maintenance. Manage and expand relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on software applications design and development. Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with applications design and development guidelines and standards provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk. Provide domain-specific expertise and overall software applications leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities. Drive innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software applications design organization. Provide guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members. What you need to bring: If you are/have... Good experience with modern backend development using java, scala, python and kafka Software applications testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools. Experience in overall architecture of software product engineering Good knowledge of Web Services and databases Experience with Virtualization and cloud technologies Hands-on experience with CICD, DevOps and Agile development methodology Experience with telecom BSS/OSS software and good exposure to relevant standards, technology and open sources will be an added advantage Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Experience with Design and integration of software applications running on multiple platform types into overall architecture Experience in evaluating software applications testing platforms, tools and automation Excellent written and verbal communication skills mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.
