Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and driven

Technical Python Lead

to guide our development team in building high-performance, scalable solutions for the

Fintech

space. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in

Python

development, particularly with the

FastAPI

framework, and a proven track record of leading technical projects from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture:

Lead the design and implementation of robust, secure, and scalable microservices and APIs using

Python

and

FastAPI

for core financial applications.

Team Guidance:

Mentor, coach, and provide technical direction to a team of Python developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaborative problem-solving.

Code Quality & Standards:

Define and enforce coding standards, perform regular code reviews, and ensure high quality, maintainable, and well-tested code (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests).

Fintech Domain Expertise:

Apply best practices for security, data integrity, and compliance specific to the financial industry (e.g., handling sensitive data, payment processing, transactional systems).

Project Delivery:

Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure timely delivery of features and projects.

Performance Optimization:

Identify and resolve performance and scaling challenges, ensuring low latency and high throughput for our API services.

CI/CD & Deployment:

Oversee the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, leveraging tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Required Qualifications

7+ years

of professional experience in software development, with at least

3+ years

in a technical leadership or principal role.

Expert-level proficiency in Python

and a deep understanding of asynchronous programming.

Extensive hands-on experience with FastAPI

for building high-performance APIs. Knowledge of related frameworks (e.g., Pydantic) is essential.

Strong, verifiable experience working on Fintech, financial services, or high-throughput transactional projects.

Solid understanding of database technologies, both

SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL)

and

NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB)

, and expertise in data modeling. Experience with

cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

and containerization technologies (

Docker, Kubernetes

). Proficiency with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest) and TDD principles. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

Experience with message brokers and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). Familiarity with security best practices for APIs (e.g., OAuth 2.0, JWT). Prior experience optimizing services for performance under heavy load (load testing, profiling). Understanding of financial protocols, regulatory requirements, or specific Fintech domains (e.g., trading, lending, payments).

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹130,000.00 per month
