As a Technical Lead in the Network Automation team at Nokia, you will play a pivotal role in developing Network Management and Automation solutions for carrier-grade IP networks, leveraging your expertise in Java, J2EE, XML, SNMP, EMS, and NMS to drive innovative solutions, tackle complex challenges, collaborate with talented professionals, and work on high-impact projects in a flexible environment that prioritizes both productivity and well-being.
Responsibilities:

• Autonomously performs tasks with a moderate level of guidance and within guidelines and policies.
• Resolves customer trouble tickets. Diagnoses complex problems / issues (EG hardware, software, combination) and provides resolution or recommend corrective actions.
• Work with cross-functional agile teams in developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems.
• Work with scrum team to deliver the features on time aligning to NSP quality guidelines .
• Participate in architectural discussions to refine and optimize system designs for scalability and performance.
• Engage in hands-on coding and system design, ensuring high-quality standards and best practices are maintained.
• Drive innovation by exploring new ideas, tools, and methodologies to enhance team performance and project outcomes.
• Contribute to challenging projects that push the boundaries of technology, working alongside some of the industry's brightest engineers.

Qualifications:
You have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or related field with 4-6 years of experience in software design and development.
• Hands-on experience in Core Java, J2EE, XML, micro-service environment.
• Experience in developing EMS/NMS products that manage telecommunication networks.
• Familiarity with network management and related protocols (for example: gRPC/ gNMI(gRemote)
• Procedure Calls Network Management Interface/ NetConf : Network Configuration Protocol / SNMP: Simple Network Management Protocol)
• Ability to take ownership and drive features independently while working in a highly agile environment.

It would be nice if you also had:

• Knowledge of Network Technologies like Internal Protocol(IP)/Multi Protocol Label Switching(MPLS).
• Experience of designing systems for high scale and performance. Knowledge of frameworks and tools like Spring Boot, REST, Docker/Kubernetes
