Job Details What you will do As a member of Johnson Controls India, this position will be part of the IEC global platforming project team that supports the GEC for Global Hardware Platforming program for electronics components and products for different PBUs. He/she will be responsible for JCI product & component level data analysis from the various resources such as PLM, ERP, SharePoint etc. and support the global platforming team. He/she will have to interact with different stakeholders from different departments of JCI such as all engineering teams, procurement teams, platforming SMEs, design & library teams, etc. This person will understand different JCI products/business and their design, manufacturing, and documentation best practices & possess the capability to manage changes. He/She will oversee the technical team executing the Global Part Library (GPL) part creation to ensure process, quality, and schedule are met along with supporting the establishment of the GPL life cycle governance. How you will do it

• Understand the overall global platforming project objective, the scope of work, different data extraction sources and expectations
• Managing the Customer with Customer centricity approach
• Collaborate with multiple engineering organizations across the corporation along with other functional organizations such as procurement.
• Understand and follow the best practices for documentation for data analytics, project deliverables, internal engineering methods and manufacturing conventions
• Help the data quality manager in ensuring that data quality is maintained across the JCI business units
• Support with statistics & suggest action within the team to ensure that data issues are resolved
• Shall manage integrity, availability, and confidentiality of the data stores and databases
• Will support the platforming team for all electronics component data collection, verification and analysis
• Validate various data sources for accuracy and completeness
• Provide technical guidance to team on data mining processes
• Perform data gathering and data analytics using JCI tools and Microsoft Excel features
• Provide analysis report either in excel pivot tables & charts or dashboard and/or in PPT

• Adhere to JCI policies, guidelines and procedures pertaining to the protection of information assets
• Adhere to JCI product security standards and guidelines for secured software product development
• The software, licenses, shall be deployed and used only in accordance with JCI licensing agreements
• Unless provided in the applicable license, notice, or agreement, copyrighted software shall not be duplicated, except for backup and archival purposes
• Any software that is acquired illegally or does not have a valid license shall not be deployed or used. Copying of third party materials without an appropriate license is prohibited.
• The employees, contractors or third-party personnel shall not copy, extract or reproduce in any way, copyrighted material from the Internet on information systems provided by organization, other than permitted by copyright law
• Implement appropriate physical and technical safeguards to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets
• All employees, contractors and third parties shall be responsible to report all information security incidents, alerts, warnings and suspected vulnerabilities, in a timely manner, and share such information only with authorized personnel

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech (ECE/EIE/EEE) - minimum 8+ years of experience in Data Analyzing/Business Analyst / Data fidelity
• 5 - 7 years of experience in working with data management teams
• Experience with implementing or managing enterprise-scale data warehouse or data management or data science
• At least 4+ years of experience in leading projects and teams
• Experience in Electronics product engineering activities
• Basic knowledge of electronic components and part selection for an alternate suggestion
• Experienced in PLM for the electronic data management system (PTC Windchill)
• Proficiency with Power BI, Microsoft Office Excel, Word & Power point
• Should have a strong understanding of Windchill, PLM tools and Silicon expert
• Shall have experience in electronics & electrical component level analysis
• Should be able to perform BOM scrubbing on electronics BOM and provide a lifecycle analysis report

Strong communication skills and be able to discuss technical topics with individuals and groups with a wide range of technical backgrounds
