Role Overview

We are seeking a

highly knowledgeable and hands-on Technical Lead

with

6+ years of full-stack development experience

and proven capability in

team handling and technical leadership

. The ideal candidate should have worked on

AI-driven systems

, scalable applications, and modern architectures, and should be comfortable owning end-to-end technical delivery.

This is an

onsite role

, and the candidate must be based in or willing to relocate to

Pondicherry (or nearby locations within 50 km) or Chennai

.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring technical quality and timely delivery. Own application architecture, code quality, and technical decision-making. Design, develop, and scale full-stack applications with high performance and security. Actively contribute to

AI-driven modules

such as automation, chatbots, document processing, or intelligent workflows. Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and Management teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure adherence to coding standards. Identify technical risks early and propose scalable, long-term solutions. Drive continuous improvement in development processes, performance, and system reliability.

Technology Expectations by Experience Level

1-2 Years: Strong Foundations

The candidate should have solid hands-on experience with:

Core programming fundamentals (OOP, data structures, basic design patterns) JavaScript fundamentals HTML, CSS, basic frontend frameworks Git version control Relational databases (MySQL / MariaDB - basics)

2-4 Years: Intermediate to Advanced Development

The candidate should demonstrate:

Strong backend development experience using

Node.js, NestJS, and Python

Experience in building

RESTful APIs

, authentication, authorization, and role-based access

Frontend frameworks:

React.js or Vue.js

API integrations and third-party services

Database optimization and query tuning

Working knowledge of

Redis

, background jobs, and basic DevOps concepts

Exposure to SaaS products and real-world project delivery

Ability to independently handle modules and guide junior developers

4-6+ Years: Technical Leadership & Architecture

The candidate must have:

Deep expertise in

full-stack architecture and system design

Experience leading teams and managing deliverables Multi-tenant architecture experience (preferred) Hands-on exposure to

AI-driven solutions

(OCR, NLP, chatbots, automation, LLM integrations, etc.) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) Strong understanding of performance optimization, security, and scalability Ability to make architectural decisions and mentor team members Clear technical communication and stakeholder interaction skills

Must-Have Skills

6+ years of full-stack development experience Proven
