Job Overview: As a Technical Lead in our Data Backbone Project team, you will be responsible for the successful planning, implementation, and management of the software architecture building blocks of the enterprise data layer spanning across business domains. You will be collaborating with a cross-functional team to where you leverage your extensive technical expertise to lead the development of cutting-edge solutions that harness the power of data to drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into implementation level data architecture solutions.\xc2\xb7 Design and develop scalable and efficient data models, while evaluating and selecting appropriate data storage and processing technologies for big data applications

• Hands-on role in coding, data processing, and development activities, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards.
• Implement testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and accuracy of data-driven solutions.
• Ensure adherence to data governance and security policies to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements while enabling seamless data availability and sharing to serve business goals.
• Optimize and tune data architectures for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture building blocks and data flows.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in big data and data management.

Qualifications

Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Additional Information

• Proven industry experience (6+ years) in relevant projects with a focus on big data and enterprise level data solutionsIn-depth knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data storage concepts.
• Proficiency in working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, SQL, and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB).
• Expertise in Data Lake and Databricks
• Expertise in data integration, ETL processes, and data pipeline development.
• Expertise with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Data governance and security expertise is a big plus.
