Android development Lead for Android Auto

Your Role:



Design and develop sophisticated Android Auto applications using Android Auto SDK and Car App Library Make critical technical decisions regarding platform architecture, third-party integrations, and technology stack Drive innovation in automotive user experience while ensuring compliance with safety regulations

Android Auto Development
Implement navigation, media, messaging, and custom automotive applications Ensure applications comply with Android Auto design guidelines and automotive safety standards Optimize applications for in-vehicle use cases including voice interaction, minimal visual distraction, and hands-free operation Integrate with vehicle systems through Android Automotive OS and third-party automotive APIs

Team Leadership & Management
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, QA, and DevOps

Development & Architecture
Architect scalable, maintainable Android applications following MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar patterns Implement robust testing strategies including unit tests, integration tests, and automated UI testing Ensure applications meet performance benchmarks for automotive environments Lead migration efforts to latest Android versions and automotive platform updates Implement CI/CD pipeline development for Android Auto applicationsYour Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:



7+ years of Android development experience 4+ years of hands-on experience with Android Auto development and automotive platforms Proven track record of delivering complex projects Android Auto SDK: Deep expertise with Android Auto SDK, Car App Library, and automotive app development Knowledge of Automotive Standards Vehicle Integration: Experience with Android Automotive OS, OEM integrations, and vehicle connectivity protocols

Technical Skills

Android Development: Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK Architecture Patterns: Strong experience with MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture, and dependency injection (Dagger/Hilt) Testing Frameworks Development Tools: Advanced knowledge of Android Studio, Gradle, Git, and debugging toolsWhy join us?
