Role Overview



As the Technical Head - NOC & Integration, you will lead aerloop's end-to-end network operations and technology integration initiatives. This role requires a visionary leader with deep hands-on technical expertise in ISP-grade networks, routing protocols, and security infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring network reliability, scalability, and smooth integration of new technologies while mentoring the technical team to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities



Network Operations & Management



Lead the NOC team to ensure 24x7 network uptime and optimal performance. Manage network device configurations, logical addressing, and version control. Develop, implement, and optimize NOC monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue resolution. Create SOPs and escalation processes to maintain service reliability and improve mean time to resolve (MTTR).

Network Design & Integration



Design and deploy scalable network architectures suitable for ISP operations. Lead integration of new nodes, PoPs, and backbone upgrades. Develop detailed migration, conversion, and implementation plans for network expansions and customer onboarding. Coordinate cable, fiber, and wireless installations for new and existing projects.

Technical Leadership & Troubleshooting



Act as the final escalation point for complex network and integration issues. Guide and mentor NOC engineers, ensuring continuous skill enhancement and knowledge sharing. Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders for remote troubleshooting and integrations. Provide senior technical leadership for resolving high-severity outages or incidents.

Routing, Switching & Security



Configure and troubleshoot advanced routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP. Administer firewalls (PIX, Fortinet, Linux IPTables) and enforce network security standards. Document and maintain secure network architectures, ensuring compliance with ISP regulatory norms. Support both pre-sales and post-sales teams in designing customer-centric network and security solutions.

Automation & System Improvement



Implement automation for network management, device configuration, and performance analysis. Drive process improvement and technology adoption initiatives within NOC and Integration teams. Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies such as SD-WAN, virtualization, and cloud connectivity.

Virtualization & Infrastructure



Manage application servers on VMware and integrate storage on Dell or equivalent systems. Ensure high availability and redundancy of virtualized infrastructure supporting ISP operations.

Strategic & Reporting Functions



Develop budgets and project timelines for NOC operations and integration projects. Present regular performance and incident reports to senior management. Align technical strategies with aerloop's vision for innovation, scalability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Skills & Competencies



Strong expertise in ISP network design, deployment, and maintenance. In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN, VPN, and WAN technologies. Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Zabbix, PRTG, or similar. Proficiency in automation platforms (e.g., Ansible, Python scripts, or equivalent). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Excellent communication and documentation capabilities.

Educational Qualifications



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Telecommunications. Completed CCNA certification. Preferred certifications: CCNP / CCIE / Fortinet NSE / JNCIE / AWS Networking / VMware Certified Professional.
