What this job involves:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the technical shift operations of all facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and efficiency of facility equipment and systems.

Oversee and coordinate major repair projects, renovations, and new installations.

Analyze and optimize energy consumption, implementing energy-saving initiatives where possible.

Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Manage and mentor a team of technical staff, including supervisors, technicians, and contractors.

Develop and manage monthly inventory for technical operations, maintenance.

Conduct regular facility audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and potential issues.

Collaborate with other departments to align technical operations with overall business objectives.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices, recommending, and implementing improvements as appropriate.

Strong knowledge of property operations

Playing a key role, the ideal candidate holds a degree in business or hotel and building management, and at least three to five years' experience in facilities management. You must also demonstrate good working knowledge in occupational safety, as well as aptitude in client-centric operations.

Solid background in team management. Are you an adept leader with a proven track record in managing a team? Are you capable of effectively rolling out improvement plans?
