Your role
Are you passionate about mixing technology to derive business value? Are you excited by the prospect of helping to drive and deliver change that will positively impact the way every research analysts and engineer works in the GWM Chief Investment Office(CIO)? We are looking for a full stack software engineer who is passionate about UI development to:

• support the delivery of solutions that improve the productivity and effectiveness of analysts community within CIO
• help develop a investment marketplace with emphasis on a frictionless user experience (UI / UX)
• help build the analysts experiences for creating and consuming re-usable investment views deployed broadly across investment process, focused on both dynamic user interfaces and automation

Your team
You will be working in the Chief Investment Office platform team of the world’s largest wealth manager and will be based in India. The platform team offers support in data framework, managing the internal databases, portals, KPI calculations, Data visualization and other IT related support. The team handles performance measurement, tableau dashboards, Bamboo general support like equity initiation set-up, managing EPLs, handling WebTeam tasks, CIO Portal configurations and support CIO digital platform development like CIO Data Framework and Datamart.
Your expertise
Bachelor degree in Engineering with IT specialization or equivalent with at least 4-6 years of relevant experience.

• in-depth engineering skills; able to develop rich web-based UI/UX as well as having technical and architectural understanding of the entire application and infrastructure stack
• knowledgeable of best-practices for modern web-based UI/UX including design, development, testing, dependency management and packaging, etc
• experience with one or more major UI frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc)
• experience with one or more programming languages (Java, NodeJS, Python, etc)
• experience with scripting languages (bash, etc)
• understanding of a broad range of platforms, technologies and tools, specifically Linux, Postgres, GitHub/Gitlab, Nexus, TeamCity, Sonar, Jira, Confluence
• understanding of Agile methodology
• a dynamic full stack skillset, capable of developing rich application front-ends, as well as modifying and expanding on back-end application logic as well as packaging and deployment automation
• high level of curiosity and awareness of emerging technologies, particularly in UI/UX and UI testing
