The position / About the Job:

In this job the Technical Designer would be responsible for:

• P&ID, Equipment layout (Pumps, valves, vessels, etc.) prepared with backup from P&ID in Cadison.
• Make Equipment layout in Cadison. Make Piping 3D model, Piping Isometrics and Bill of material with reference of Equipment layout and P&ID and its components.
• General arrangement drawing for plant and GA drawing of vessels, ducts & structural frames etc.
• Coordinate the planning of own design activities as well as other team member.
• Participate in project meetings.
• Use computer-aided drafting (CAD), Cadison, Autocad, etc. to develop P&ID, layouts.
• Drawings, and design in 2D and 3D.
• Wok on Alfa Laval component selection.
• Responsible for communication with project manager and other drafting resources.
• Responsible for resolving Cadison related issues with team members.
• Support to Order handlers, Sales engineers, Project managers, Engineers, Workshop and Buyers.

What you can be?

Qualifications: -

• Trained Diploma or Degree in Mechanical.
• Minimum 4+ years\' experience in Fresh Water Generation, Desalination Distillery and Process Industry drafting.

Skills

• Fluent in English
• Good command on 2D and 3D (Cadison/AutoCAD)
• Knowledge on standard related to pipe and fittings
• (EN, ANSI) piping code ASTM B31.1, Valves, fitting
• codes (ASTM B16.34, B16.9, B16.11, B16.5)
• Understanding of various standards and specifications applicable in Sanitary systems (ISO2037, DIN11850 etc.) is plus.
• Familiar with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Flexible in approach and easy to work with
• High integrity, self-driven, open to share all.
• knowledge, persevering, courageous
• straightforward and can lead with example.
• Cross-cultural understanding is highly desirable
• Customer oriented and delivery commitment/ quality focus
• Capable of independent drafting work. (layout, PID and Piping) for standard projects. Capable of drafting for nonstandard processes with limited support from specialists.

Knowledge:

• Engineer or technical designer education (required)
• Strong knowledge of design tools (Cadison, Auto-CAD, Inventor, Navisworks) worked with Fresh water generation, Evaporation, Distillation.

Attitude:

• Team player and customer-oriented (preferred). Structured. Commitment to project deliverables.
