We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Designer from the furniture and interior industry with 4-7 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of furniture, interiors, and millwork, along with proficiency in relevant design and drafting software. This role focuses on translating design concepts into accurate, production-ready technical drawings and ensuring smooth coordination between design, production, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and working drawings for furniture and interior projects.
Convert concept designs into execution-ready documenta on with precise dimensions, materials, and specifications.
Coordinate with design, production, and site teams to ensure technical feasibility and accuracy.
Develop detailed joinery, millwork, and construction details as per industry standards.
Review drawings for errors, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
Support project teams with technical clarifications during production and installation.
Manage drawing revisions based on site conditions, client feedback, or design changes.
Ensure timely delivery of technical documenta on as per project timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
4-7 years of proven experience as a Technical Designer in the furniture and interior industry.
Strong knowledge of custom furniture, modular furniture, interiors, and millwork.
Proficiency in relevant sowtare such as AutoCAD, Infurnia, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or other equivalent tools.
Ability to create accurate BOQs, cu ng lists, and produc on-ready drawings.
Sound understanding of materials, finishes, hardware, and construc on methods.
Excellent a en on to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage mul ple projects and work under deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in on-site coordination and execution support.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and installation practices.
Familiarity with cost optimization and value engineering.
Strong communication and coordination abilities.
