Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery Management

Manage daily operations of development teams, ensuring task ownership and timely delivery. Break down business and architectural requirements into actionable tasks. Facilitate sprint ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and track delivery. Act as first point of contact for blockers, dependencies, and clarifications. Support developer growth through mentorship and performance feedback. Oversee ticket planning and production issue remediation.

Technical Execution

Translate high-level technical vision into detailed technical planning. Review system designs, code, and implementation strategies to ensure quality. Drive CI/CD adoption, automated testing, monitoring, and DevOps practices. Contribute directly to complex development tasks, refactors, or infrastructure upgrades. Maintain system documentation and API references.

Release & Environment Management

Oversee release processes across QA, staging, and production. Debug and resolve critical production issues quickly. Implement monitoring and alerting improvements for higher reliability.

Collaboration

Partner with Product Managers to refine priorities. Work with Solution Architect to ensure technical consistency. Coordinate with QA and stakeholders to ensure quality releases.

Requirements

8-15 years

of software development experience, with

2+ years in delivery management or technical leadership

. Hands-on background in

full-stack or backend development

(preferably Django + React). Strong experience with

REST APIs, microservices, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)

, and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent

stakeholder management and communication skills

. Experience managing global teams in a

product company environment

. Leadership capabilities -- able to mentor developers and ensure high-quality deliverables. Familiarity with AI integration in development workflows (good to have).

Qualifying Questions

How many total years of experience do you have in software development? How many years have you worked as a Delivery Manager / Technical Lead?

Technical Background:

Have you worked hands-on with Django (Python) and React/Next.js? Are you familiar with microservices, RESTful API design, and CI/CD practices?

Delivery Management:

Describe your experience in managing cross-functional teams (size, scope). Have you managed end-to-end delivery from requirements to production release?

Global Exposure:

Have you worked with globally distributed teams or in a product company setup? How do you handle stakeholder expectations and delivery challenges?
