Job Overview
The Technical Coordinator, Textile Exchange requires a background in a technical field (i.e., science, technology, engineering, mathematics, etc.), ideally with some knowledge of textiles production, textile exchange, or circularity, as well as a passion to work on environmental sustainability issues. This position requires excellent organization, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently. The Technical Coordinator supports Textile Exchange certification clients globally by conducting remote reviews of certified transactions and issuing certificates to validate those transactions, engaging with clients and staff as required. This position may also support the Recycled Content program with transaction certificate generation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Transaction Certificate Review and Issuance
Review client applications, along with required documents, following the requirements of the Transaction Certificate (TC) Issuance Policy; required documents include supporting or evidence documents to align with the TC application, such as invoices, bills of lading, production documents, etc.
Respond to clients via email to indicate the application has been received
Ensure that clients submit all required documents and those documents support the information indicated on the application before issuing any certificate
Request missing documentation or required clarifications in a timely manner
Create Transaction Certificates, using the most up to date templates on file, following the complete submission of documentation (current system) or issuance of generated transaction certificate once software tool is complete (upcoming system)
Update Transaction Certificate tracker on a daily basis with key information regarding the Transaction Certificate application
Additional Responsibilities
Adhere to requested timeline of client, adjusting prioritization based on the due dates of the incoming TC applications (14-day, 3-day, and 24-hour)
Amend transaction certificates, as requested, within a 14-day period and update the tracker
Immediately communicate with the Operations Manager if a request is received with details such as sites or products that are not in the client's scope certificate on file
Participate in occasional meetings, as required, which will take place in the morning US Eastern Standard Time
Take all required training courses, including Docebo Textile Exchange training, ongoing Ninjio training, and any other training, as assigned
Complete training and issue RCC transaction certificates, as needed
Clarify TC application requirements to clients, as needed
Edit relevant program documents or create program templates, as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related)
or
3+ years of experience working in a related technical sector
Understanding of or willingness to learn the principles of Textile Exchange and/or circularity
Fluent in English with work experience that involves professional verbal and written communication
Ability to complete time-sensitive projects and to provide realistic deadlines
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
Proficient with business software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and database management
Initiative, good judgment, and ability to work independently in a changing environment
