About GUVI Geek Networks (IITM Incubated)

GUVI (Grab Ur Vernacular Imprint) is an IIT Madras incubated online learning and mentoring company. GUVI was awarded as 'Top 25 Social Entrepreneur of the year 2016' by AFI. We help people learn information technology courses in their native language (English) to accelerate their skills and make them more employable through online mediums. Till now, 1.5L+ students from 11 states have been part of our platform.

About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Learn new technologies
2. Share knowledge and understanding
3. Work on handling 1:1 doubt sessions
4. Develop the individual's technical skills, which is a prerequisite for growth
5. Take ownership of learners' progress and maintain the individual performance report
6. Take ownership and dedicated support towards achieving the mutual goal
7. Work on scheduling follow-ups to gauge students' progress
8. Determine the overall effectiveness of programs and training by listening to feedback and making improvements as necessary
9. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and etc.
10. Provide reports wherever needed
11. Work on personal attention to non-tech background learners and motivate them to succeed in the tech field
12. Provide for two-way communication

Skills and other requirements:

1. Fresher or 1 year of experience in relevance
2. Skilled in handling Logical problem-solving
3. Knowledge in follow skills HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL/MongoDB, React.js, and Node.js
