Position Summary

As a member of the PairSoft technical consulting team, you will architect, develop, test (QA and UAT), and document configurations per provided business designs and requirements. You will own performing setup/install, configuration, integration, and advanced technical configuration of our software, helping our professional services project teams (which includes many CPAs and others with accounting domain and ERP expertise) to onboard new customers and to troubleshoot and advance the usage of existing customers. This will start as an individual contributor role within a team of peers reporting to the Technical Consulting Practice Leader in the Professional Services team. Based on performance, the role can evolve to be customer and prospect-facing, including directly collecting and documenting customer requirements, preparing level of effort and hours estimates, authoring statements of work or change orders, and/or managing other technical consultants.

Responsibilities

• Technically designs develops and tests PairSoft configurations for Cloud and for On-Premises implementations
• Technically designs develop, and tests advanced technical configurations using JavaScript, SQL, XML, and C#
• Triages and resolves configuration and advanced configuration
• Identifies and documents best practices
• Prepares documentation for completed project work
• Provides guidance concerning product defects
• Installs the PairSoft products and applications
• Participates in project-related discussions with clients and colleagues
• Identifies product and service opportunities
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Technical Coding/Scripting Skills - self-rate and pass technical tests with at least a 7/10 in JavaScript and SQL. Ideally, you already know XML and C# but we can teach it to you.
• ERP/CRM and SaaS Experience - 1-3 years of experience developing, supporting, or designing SaaS solutions for any ERP/CRM system., ideally by Blackbaud, Microsoft (Great Plains, SL, 365BC), Sage, or NetSuite.
• Accounts Payable Domain Knowledge - basic business understanding of the procure-to-pay process flows in how a Finance department manages Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, Receipts, Invoices, etc. We have many former CPAs on the wider team.
• Querying Skills - experience working with relational databases and reporting tools, ideally SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), but anything from Crystal Reports to Tableau.
• Integration Skills - nice to have is familiarity with REST APIs and direct SQL connections, or some legacy Microsoft tools such as E-connect or Catalina.
• Spoken English Skills - must be completely fluent to receive and articulate complex concepts.
• Written English Skills - can evidence strong writing and documentation skills via documentation of past technical projects and best practices.
• Education - either a degree from an accredited four-year undergraduate institution in computer science/information systems, 3 years prior work experience with the above technologies, or from a reputable technical boot camp with multiple relevant certifications from Coursera et al.
• Location - Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India / Remote
• Remote Worker Experience - you have worked remotely before and are familiar with virtual collaboration tools.
• Related Experience - Nice to have is worked at or with: KwikTag, Altec DocLink, Sample, Metafile, Fraxion, ReqLogic, Avid Xchange, IBM Filenet, Prism Docrecord, Laserfiche DMS, Hyland, copier OEM/reseller services teams, etc.
