We foster a fun and connected environment with employee benefits extending beyond general compensation and into company sponsored events and an invested culture of learning.The Technical Consultant, Microsoft 365 and Power Platform is responsible for the end-to-end implementation of solutions using PowerApps, Power Automate, SPFx, and other Microsoft 365 tools. This role plays a crucial part in developing, maintaining, and optimizing apps and workflows that align with Synoptek's strategic objectives and client-specific needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power Platform and Microsoft 365 technologies, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Solutions: Lead the development and maintenance of apps using Power Platform, SharePoint, and MS Teams, ensuring they meet the specific needs of Synoptek and its clients.
• SQL Development: Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to support application functionality and reporting needs.
• Quality Assurance: Write and maintain unit tests to ensure the highest level of code quality and system reliability.
• Client Collaboration: Engage directly with clients, understanding their business requirements and translating them into effective technical solutions. Ensure all deliverables meet client expectations.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Continuous Learning: Stay informed of the latest Microsoft 365, Power Platform, RPA, Graph API, and AI technologies, continuously improving Synopteks offerings.
• Technical Expertise: Provide expert guidance on the use of PowerApps, Power Automate, and SPFx, ensuring that solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with best practices.

Education

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• In lieu of a Bachelors degree, equivalent years of experience in software development, particularly with Power Platform and Microsoft 365 technologies, may be considered. The ratio is 1:1, meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience, and vice versa.

Experience

• Customarily has at least 2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on PowerApps, Power Automate, and SPFx.
• Customarily has at least 1 year of experience leading or managing software development projects, with a demonstrated ability to oversee full lifecycle implementations.
• Significant experience with Microsoft 365 tools, including Power Platform, SharePoint, and MS Teams, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing apps and workflows using PowerApps, Power Automate, and SPFx.

• Working knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work directly with clients and understand their needs.
• A fast learner who can quickly grasp new technologies and frameworks
