ELIGIBILITY:
Should have an engineering degree with sectoral experience in Energy Management/Operations & Maintenance/technical evaluation of Energy Saving.
Should have 5 years of experience in the notified sectors/experience in new sectors like railways, distribution companies, and petroleum refinery will be desirable, along with experience in energy management, plant process, and evaluation of techno-economics of energy efficiency measures.
Should be a BEE Certified Energy Auditor/Manager.
Involvement in PAT-related activities will be given preference.
Should be conversant with existing industrial energy-efficient technologies.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify opportunities for DSM programs based on customer knowledge/market research.
The manpower should be totally responsible for the implementation of at least 4 demand-side measures mentioned in the RFP during the tenure.
Facilitate consultants in conducting field performance measurement and data collection for load research and submit reports to BEE.
Prepare utility, technology, and customer data for DSM analysis.
Evaluate and choose DSM programs, including delivery channels, partnership development, administrative procedures, promotion, and evaluation plans for the DSM program and other DSM schemes.
Help DISCOMs in developing DSM projects, implementing DSM projects, and performing statistical/situational analysis for the need for training on DSM for DISCOM officials.
Formulate draft DSM regulations and facilitate the adoption of DSM regulations by the regulator.
Assist DISCOM in BEE's PAT program and energy accounting of DISCOMs and handholding of energy accounting of DISCOMs.
Support DISCOM to comply with the provisions of EC Act, 2001.
Any other work assigned by BEE and DISCOM/SDA.
