Communicates technical information to end users of Zebra products and applications using writing, editing, design, illustration, or multimedia skills.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Researches, writes, illustrates, edits, and completes deliverables for hardware and software

projects following accepted Technical Communication standards.

Under moderate supervision, follows the Engineering and TechComm

Department Project Specifications to complete the assigned deliverables

within the specified timeframe.

Follows Style Guide, Template, and Branding Guidelines to comply with Zebra and

TechComm Department standards.

Interacts with Subject Matter Experts to research procedures and technology concepts. Escalates issues to get timely resolution before schedule is impacted. Manages own time so projects are completed by due date. Ensures project deliverables are loaded into information management systems as appropriate.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

Minimum Education:

o Bachelor's degree in technical writing, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent

combination of education, training, and experience in technical communications or

related field.

Minimum Work Experience (years):

o 2+ years or related field experience or required equivalent combination of education,

training, and work experience in technical communications or related field.

Key Skills and Competencies:

o Intermediate understanding of tools used in design and delivery of end-user

documentation.

o Familiarity with graphic illustration software.

o Aptitude for technology.

o Strong professional work behaviors - strong attention to detail, teamwork, accountability.

Travel Requirements: 10%
