Typical responsibilities of the job include: installing and configuring computer networks and systems. identifying and solving any problems that arise with computer networks and systems. A network administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining an organization's LAN/WAN network. Their primary responsibilities include:ResponsibilitiesCandidate should have solid experience of Network administration managing LAN/WAN setups.Network Installation and Configuration: The network administrator must install, configure, and maintain the hardware and software that makes up the network. This includes switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices.Network Performance: The network administrator monitors the network to ensure that it is operating efficiently and that there are no bottlenecks or other issues that could cause network downtime or slow performance.Troubleshooting: The network administrator must be able to identify and resolve issues that arise on the network, such as connectivity problems or hardware failures.Backup and Recovery: The network administrator is responsible for backing up critical data and ensuring that it can be restored in the event of a disaster.Network Upgrades: The network administrator must keep up to date with the latest hardware and software technology and recommend upgrades to improve the network's performance and security.Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customers networks and in house serversInstall and integrate new server hardware and applicationsKeep an eye out for needed updatesSupport and administer third-party applicationsEnsure network security and connectivityMonitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknessesSet up user accounts, permissions and passwordsResolve problems reported by end userDefine network policies and proceduresSpecify system requirements and design solutionsResearch and make recommendations on server system administrationQualifications we seek in you!Minimum Qualifications / SkillsBachelor's Degree required.
