Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Assistant with a background in Leather Technology and ISO 14000 certification. The ideal candidate will support production, quality assurance, and environmental compliance efforts in our leather processing facility. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates starting their careers in leather manufacturing and sustainability practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation and monitoring of leather production processes. Ensure compliance with ISO 14000 environmental management standards. Support the QA/QC team in sampling, testing, and documentation of leather quality. Coordinate with the production team to monitor raw material usage, chemical dosing, and waste management. Maintain accurate records for audits, certifications, and regulatory compliance. Assist in research and development efforts to improve product performance and sustainability. Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on industry best practices.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Leather Technology or related field. ISO 14000 certification or demonstrable knowledge of environmental management systems. 0-2 years of relevant experience in a leather manufacturing or related environment. Basic knowledge of leather tanning, finishing, and quality parameters. Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainable practices in leather industry. Proficient in MS Office and basic lab/testing equipment. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with chemical safety and environmental audits. Exposure to sustainable leather production techniques or eco-labeling processes.

Pay: ?16,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
