Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Instructor / Teaching Assistant for the Department of Foundry Technology at PSG Polytechnic College. The ideal candidate will support departmental projects, assist in handling laboratory classes, and contribute to practical skill-building for students through hands-on technical learning and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and assist with projects undertaken by the Department of Foundry Technology. Conduct and support laboratory classes, ensuring smooth execution of practical sessions. Guide students in understanding foundry operations, tools, equipment, and safety practices. Maintain lab equipment, tools, and materials in proper working condition. Assist faculty in preparing lab manuals, project documentation, and instructional materials. Provide technical support during demonstrations, experiments, and industrial practice sessions. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures within the lab. Support the department in organizing workshops, training programs, and industrial visits.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Strong understanding of basic mechanical engineering principles. Interest or foundational knowledge in foundry technology, metallurgy, or production processes. Good practical skills and hands-on technical aptitude. Ability to support students in laboratory environments with patience and clarity. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
