About the Role

HaystackAnalytics is seeking a

Technical Assistant - Documentation

who is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong scientific background. The ideal candidate will support our technical and scientific teams by managing documentation, data entry, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. If you have experience in lab-based documentation and a passion for accuracy, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, maintain, and update technical documents including SOPs, protocols, reports, and manuals Format and proofread scientific data, lab records, and technical content Ensure documentation aligns with GLP/GMP, ISO, and internal compliance standards Collaborate with lab, research, and production teams to compile and verify technical information Manage both digital and hard copy documentation for audit readiness Track revisions and maintain version control across all documents Assist in audits, inspections, and internal/external review preparations

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in

Biotechnology

2-4 years of experience in documentation within a

lab, healthcare, research, or manufacturing environment

Strong understanding of lab/technical terminology and documentation best practices Proficiency in

MS Office

(Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general data entry tools Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with

quality standards

such as ISO, GLP, or GMP Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines Experience with document control systems or electronic lab notebooks (ELN) is a plus
