Job Description


Work collaboratively with Designers, UX, Concept Artists, Animators, Producers, and Software Engineers to develop visually stunning and optimized game content. Serve as a liaison between engineering and all disciplines, responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and optimizing art setups to support our games animation and design requirements. Act as a key member, actively supporting the team and the product while maintaining proactive communication on a daily basis. Utilize a range of skills to creatively determine solutions, contribute ideas, oversee pipelines, and collaborate across discipline lines to provide expertise and identify and address potential issues. Key Responsibilities: Integrate art assets (prefabs, 2D and 3D), animations, and VFX using the Unity game engine. Rig and skin 3D and 2D (sprite) assets. Efficiently handle Unity prefabs, art assets, animations, animation controllers, and VFX (2D and 3D). Proficiently create and manage game environments, lighting, and optimizations. Create tools within the pipeline. Collaborate closely with the Art team (Concept, 3D artists, animators), Developers, UI/UX team, and game designers to integrate all game assets and bring them to life. Receive and incorporate feedback in a constructive manner while demonstrating work estimation and time tracking. Foster effective team collaboration and leverage previous experience in game development. Required Skills: Proficiency in software such as Maya, Unity, Photoshop, Texture Packer, and Visual Studio. Solid knowledge of scripting, rigging, and VFX. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with different departments such as Design, UI/UX, Development, and QA teams to ensure project success. Clear understanding of cameras, lighting, and shaders in Unity. Preferred Skills: 2+ years of industry experience and knowledge in Unity engine game development. Genuine passion for games. Experience with Git and version control software such as Perforce. Familiarity with Unity animations and knowledge of NGUI/Unity UI. Basic in proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, MEL, JSX) or Object-oriented programming languages such as Objective C, C++, C#, or Java. Basic understanding of profiling.
