Description:
CTG is seeking to fill a Technical Architect - Red Hat Platform position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 4 months
Duties:
Design, implement, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments across multiple platforms.
Lead automation initiatives using Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform to streamline infrastructure deployment and management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with technical standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other stakeholders.
Develop and maintain automation content, execution environments, and deployment pipelines.
Troubleshoot complex issues across Linux infrastructure and automation workflows.
Skills:
Strong expertise in Linux, ideally Red Hat Enterprise Linux (5+ years).
Solid experience with Ansible core concepts (playbooks, roles, tasks) for at least 3 years.
Proficiency with Ansible Automation Platform (2+ years), including execution environments, content tools (Builder, Navigator), and Automation Controller.
Nice to have: Podman, Python 3.13+, Ansible Automation Platform Automation Hub.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Linux administration and automation.
Proven experience designing and implementing automation solutions in enterprise environments.
Experience with Red Hat ecosystems and enterprise-level deployment scenarios.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
