Name of Profile: Technical Architect (Backend) Location: Noida Working Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience Startup experience preferred, Edtech work experience bonus As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex backend systems and infrastructure that power our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as software developers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet those requirements. You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and incorporating them into our software solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain complex backend systems and infrastructure that power our software products Work closely with software developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architecture Analyze and evaluate new technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in our backend systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of software projects on time and within budget Develop and maintain technical documentation and architectural diagrams Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our backend systems Mentor and coach software developers on best practices in backend development Create processes to ensure the quality of the systems being developed across engineering Requirements : 7+ years of experience in backend development 3+ years of experience in technical architecture or a similar role Strong knowledge of backend technologies such as Java, Python, Node.js, Ruby, or Go Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Experience with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and caching technologies (MongoDB experience is mandatory) Experience working on modern technologies / architectures such as DB Sharding, Redis Sharding, Websockets, SNS, GRPC etc. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse and resolve complex technical issues Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code Experience with agile software development methodologies Experience with event driven microservices architecture Preferred Qualifications: Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React or Angular Experience with machine learning and data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or TensorFlow Company Description- PW (PhysicsWallah) is India\'s leading ed-tech company which provides quality content at affordable prices to JEE and NEET aspirants and students of classes 9-12.
