Seeking an astute individual that has a strong technical foundation with the additional ability to be hands-on with the broader engineering team as part of the development/deployment cycle, and deep knowledge of industry best practices, with the ability to implement them working with both the platform, and the product teams.

Scope:

The Technical Architect is responsible for working with global functional and technical teams through various customer engagements to gather and guide the technical Cloud implementation requirements for Blue Yonder TMS projects.

\xe2\x80\x8bWhat you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

Act as the Blue Yonder technical point of contact for internal stakeholders during Blue Yonder TMS customer development projects

Design and extend the Blue Yonder TMS CI/CD automation pipelines to support the Blue Yonder Azure Cloud deployment architecture.

Maintain and enhance the existing automation toolset using PowerShell, Ansible, GitHub and Python

Recommend and implement Cloud Architecture and Technical Best Practices in support of the Blue Yonder TMS Professional Services Development Team

Work closely with the Blue Yonder TMS Product Development and Solution Expert teams to address complex Customer issue troubleshooting and resolution.

Promote quality and continuous improvement though solution design and code reviews.

Guide technical upgrades and rollouts, by helping on code, deployment, and technical troubleshooting.

Continuous learning on latest Blue Yonder TMS Solutions

Continuous knowledge sharing and mentorship of other teams.

Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, as warranted by the situation in critical times or to manage customer escalations.

Able to take on-call escalations.

Understand and embrace a fast-paced, sense of urgency environment.

\xe2\x80\x8bWhat we are looking for: (Qualifications)

• 5+ years relevant work experience, including 3+ years of coding experience
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science or any other IT related degree
• Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree (optional) in any IT related field
• Cloud Architect Certificate highly desirable
• Strong product knowledge in multiple of the following areas:
• Cloud Architecture (Azure preferably) \xe2\x80\x93 Required
• Blue Yonder Platform (ABPP) \xe2\x80\x93 Complete DevOps lifecycle - Required
• Blue Yonder TMS Solution (preferred)
• Proficiency and demonstratable experience in an additional programming language
• Automation tools - GitHub, Ansible, Terraform, Python
• Scripting languages - Powershell
• Integration platforms \xe2\x80\x93 SOAP and REST Webservice APIs
• Windows / Unix OS management and best practices
• Experience in building and enhancing automation workflows to perform enterprise software solution deployment
• Proficiency with SQL Queries in SQL Server or Oracle including performance tuning and issue root cause analysis.
• Experience with visibility tools such as App Dynamics and Splunk
• Excellent communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 including verbal and written English language skills
• Excellent technical documentation skills
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work as a team player \xe2\x80\x93 sharing knowledge and mentoring teammates
• Must have strong multi-tasking skills
• Must be a self-motivated, quick learner - new technologies, platforms, integrations
