Job Description


Title: Technical Advisor - Global Shared Services Reporting Line: Global Shared Services (GSS) Technical Manager Employment Category: Full-time Location: Hyderabad
Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create, evaluate and review technical solutions, drawings and specifications for solar assets (revamping, retrofitting, improvements, etc)
  • Execute activities related to technical due diligence and advisory of the PV plants
  • Assessing, identifying and carrying out improvement projects/activities for the PV solar plant in a defined timeline
  • Assessing, reviewing and providing expected performance (acceptance protocols, PR calculation etc.) provided by Clients for plants under management
  • Deep review and extensive analysis of plant onboarding documentation
  • Preparation and delivery of detailed technical reports
  • Supervision of outcomes of the site visits executed by the site managers
  • Support Technical Operations in troubleshooting and solving plant incidents and underperformances
  • Support Procurement of parts and services
  • Prepare, negotiate and deliver proposals and contracts in conjunction with other technical departments
  • Staying up to date with new technology and products advancement in PV solar module & cell efficiency, inverters, structural systems, cleaning systems, monitoring solutions etc.
  • Constantly identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Ownership of issue resolution and reporting
  • Prioritization of tasks
  • Support the line manager in establishing and maintaining an environment of internal control and integrity
  • Promoting through word and deed the culture of WiseEnergy throughout all team
Work Experience: 5+ years of experience in Solar PV, in the field of solar/photovoltaic renewable energy (Engineering consultancy services, Technical Advisor, Owners’ Engineer, Asset Management, O&M contractor, EPC, etc.) and/or in similar business positions. Education: Master’s/ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Language Skills: Proficiency in English & any European language will be advantageous. Technical Skills:
  • Proven experience on the design of PV plants from PVSyst to As-built drawings.
  • Proven experience working in technical teams, service providers and suppliers
  • Comprehensive knowledge of International Standards (IEC/IEEE/BS/BIS/UL)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the technical characteristics of PV plants
  • Sound design knowledge in HV system, LV system, DC system and SCADA.
  • Understanding the root cause of site problems
  • In-depth analysis of the performance of the plants
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Capacity to attend high-level meetings
  • Quality-oriented
  • Interdisciplinary general knowledge
  • International experience would be a plus
IT Skills: AutoCAD, PVsyst, Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Teams; SCADA systems
