Tech Sourcing role.

Job location: - Vasai

Tentative salary:- 3.01L

Eligibility criteria:- Qualification: BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering

An engineering batch of students.:- 2023-2024 Or 2024-2025,

Experience required:- 0 to 1 year

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new vendors for mechanical, electrical, and fabricated components. Evaluate technical drawings and specifications for sourcing requirements. Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and contracts with suppliers. Prepare and analyse comparative cost sheets for supplier selection. Coordinate with internal departments (Design, Production, and Quality) for approvals. Maintain vendor database and track supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery). Ensure material availability as per production schedules. Support cost reduction initiatives and alternative sourcing options. Handle RFQ (Request for Quotation) preparation and vendor follow-ups. Work on ERP systems for purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor data.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of engineering drawings and BOMs (Bill of Materials). Good knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, casting, fabrication, etc.). Good with negotiation and communication skills. preferred vendor development and cost analysis. Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and technical documentation. Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
