Position: Tech Marketing Journalist Position Overview: A Tech Marketing Journalist is responsible for researching, reporting, and creating compelling content related to AI technology and marketing. This role requires a deep understanding of the technology industry, as well as the ability to analyze market trends and developments. The Tech Marketing Journalist will produce articles, blog posts, and other written materials that inform and engage readers, providing valuable insights into the intersection of technology and marketing. Key Responsibilities: 1. Research and Reporting: Stay updated on the latest technology trends, marketing strategies, and industry news. Conduct thorough research to gather information for articles and reports. 2. Content Creation: Write clear, concise, and engaging articles, blog posts, and other written materials related to technology and marketing. Cover a wide range of topics, including digital marketing, social media, emerging technologies, data analytics, and more. 3. Interviewing and Sourcing: Conduct interviews with industry experts, thought leaders and professionals to gather insights and quotes for articles. Cultivate relationships with sources to stay informed about industry developments. 4. Analysis and Insight: Provide analysis and interpretation of complex technological concepts and marketing strategies. Present insights and opinions in a well-reasoned and informative manner. 5. Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit articles and written content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to editorial guidelines. Proofread for grammar, spelling, and style errors. 6. Content Strategy: Collaborate with editors and content managers to develop and execute content strategies. Pitch ideas for articles and topics that align with the target audience and meet organizational goals. 7. Outcome: The Content developed should help in increased brand awareness, expanded reach and audience growth, improved customer engagement, increased website traffic, influencer partnerships, lead generation, data and insights. 8. Multimedia Content: Collaborate with multimedia teams to produce videos, podcasts, infographics, and other visual and audio content related to technology and marketing. 9. Industry Networking: Attend conferences, trade shows, and industry events to stay connected with the technology and marketing communities. Build relationships with industry professionals and potential sources. 10. SEO Optimization: Ensure that articles and written content are optimized for search engines. Incorporate relevant keywords and meta tags to improve visibility and organic traffic. 11. Ethical Standards: Adhere to journalistic ethics, including accuracy, objectivity, and integrity. Fact-check information and attribute sources appropriately. Qualifications and Skills: 1. Bachelor\'s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field. Minimum 3 to 5+ years of experience as a Tech Marketing Journalist. 3. Proven experience as a technology journalist, marketing writer, or in a similar role. 4. Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality, engaging content. 5. Excellent research and analytical skills to gather and interpret complex information. 6. Deep understanding of the technology industry, including trends, developments, and key players. 7. Familiarity with marketing strategies, digital advertising, social media platforms, and analytics. 8. Proficiency in SEO principles and best practices. 9. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 11. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. 12. Knowledge of multimedia content creation, such as video editing or podcast production, is a plus. 13. Familiarity with content management systems and publishing platforms.
