Role Overview

We are looking for an

Entry Level Tech Lead

who is hands-on, technically strong, and eager to grow into a leadership role. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to design and deliver backend-heavy healthcare systems while gradually taking ownership of technical direction and mentoring junior developers.

first formal tech-lead position

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using

Java

and

Node.js

Define and implement

GraphQL APIs

for scalable and efficient data access Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions for small to mid-sized modules Collaborate with product and clinical stakeholders to translate healthcare requirements into technical solutions Ensure high standards for

security, performance, and reliability

, especially for healthcare data Work closely with DevOps to support

CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and system monitoring

Mentor junior developers and promote best coding and documentation practices Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and delivery ownership

Required Skills & Experience

3-6 years of professional software development experience Strong hands-on experience with

Java

(Spring / similar frameworks) Solid experience with

Node.js

for backend services Practical experience designing and consuming

GraphQL APIs

Understanding of

DevOps fundamentals

: CI/CD pipelines Containerization (Docker) Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases Familiarity with secure coding practices and API authentication/authorization Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Good to Have (Nice-to-Haves)

Experience with

React Native

or mobile app backends Prior experience in

healthcare, healthtech, or regulated domains

Exposure to microservices architecture Knowledge of healthcare standards (FHIR, HL7) is a plus but not required
