Position: Tech Lead - Python & Azure

Experience: 8 to 10 Years

Location: Pune (Hybrid/Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead - Python & Azure to lead backend engineering efforts and guide a high-performing team in building scalable, secure, and cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on Python development expertise with leadership capabilities, ensuring delivery of enterprise-grade solutions on Azure Cloud.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and delivery of backend solutions using Python and Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, AKS). Own technical architecture decisions and ensure systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with best practices. Mentor and guide engineers, conducting regular code reviews and fostering a culture of quality and collaboration. Drive integration with Azure data services including Cosmos DB, SQL Database, and Blob Storage. Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and enforce DevSecOps practices. Define and implement logging, telemetry, and monitoring strategies using Azure Monitor and Application Insights. Partner with stakeholders, product managers, and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Troubleshoot production issues, ensure timely resolutions, and manage technical risks. Contribute to documentation of technical designs, workflows, and standards.


Required SkillsStrong expertise in Python backend development with deep knowledge of cloud-native patterns. Proven hands-on experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, AKS, Cosmos DB, SQL Database, Blob Storage. Solid understanding of security practices including Key Vault, RBAC, and compliance requirements. Experience leading and mentoring teams in Agile environments. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps processes. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.


Good to HaveExposure to microservices architecture and event-driven systems. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes. Experience in performance tuning and cost optimization in Azure. * Understanding of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
