& Job SpecificationDepartment & sub function Chassis Systems Product Manager-ProjectsPosition/TitleProduct Ma nager - Small Car Platform / cars & Sedans / UV & MUVsEducation QualificationBE/M Tech (Mechanical) Experience: Min 5 years, Role Description Lead Chassis systems development of New and all variants programs on passanger Cars. Lead Chassis systems issue resolution and corrective actions on current production and warranty issues. Manage conversion,FSS & TKH budgets & ensure monthly incurrence within the given targets. Provide effort estimation for new proje cts through estimation tools in terms of conversion man years & FSS,TKH costs in INR. Represent Chassis team in Program level mee tings as well as quality and manufacturing CFT and review meetings Drive resolution of issues and conflicts of chassis aggregates with other vehicle aggregates and provide clear direction to chassis team Monitor progress status with respect to overall progra m timing and resolve any bottlenecks. Escalate issues if any. Coordinate major prototype builds for entire chassis group for the program Lead program meetings within chassis group Coordinate among APQP, chassis teams and VD for RFQ generation and finali zation Share all program level information among Chassis teams Coordinate delivery of ALL programs deliverables like perform ance targets signoff, various milestone etc Co-ordiation of DMU reviews for all chassis aggregates projectwise Role Requirement Program leadership role on multiple programs Proven program management skills( at least 1 programe cycle should be complete Keep track of various projects budgets ( revenue & life cycle) and ensure incurrence within the targets. Effort estimation in terms of conversion man years for new projects through estimation tools and compiling. Knowledge of all chassis aggrgates like steering, suspension, brakes, fuel system, exhaust and engine mounts
