hands-on Tech Lead

with

strong MERN stack expertise and solid DevOps knowledge

, capable of leading engineering teams while actively contributing to coding and system design. This role requires a professional who has

at least 3-4 years of real Team Lead experience

, can guide developers end-to-end, and build scalable, secure platforms--primarily for

government and institutional clients in the sports technology domain

Key Responsibilities:

Lead engineering execution across multiple product verticals, ensuring alignment with government mandates, SLAs, and business goals. Architect scalable, modular, and high-performance web/mobile platforms optimized for varying network conditions. Establish architectural standards, best practices, performance benchmarks, and secure coding guidelines. Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), ensuring reliability, optimization, and DevOps efficiency. Translate RFPs/RFQs into actionable technical plans, sprint roadmaps, and delivery timelines. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, DevOps, UI/UX, QA, and leadership teams for seamless execution. Drive engineering hiring, mentoring, and performance management. Support enterprise and government client solutioning, including third-party integrations and compliance. Ensure adherence to IT security, data governance standards, and quality benchmarks. Implement AI/ML-driven models for automation, predictions, and insights. Oversee architecture and performance of cross-platform mobile applications.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

10+ years of engineering experience, including 3-4 years of proven experience as a Team Lead, managing and guiding developers. Strong hands-on expertise in MERN Stack: MongoDB MYSQL Express.js React.js NextJs Node.js Hands-on experience with system design, distributed systems, REST APIs, microservices, and message queues Strong DevOps experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, monitoring & logging Proficiency in JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Postman, Swagger, and load-testing tools Deep understanding of IT security, cloud security, and data privacy standards Familiarity with Indian government tech standards (MeitY, Aadhaar, DigiLocker APIs) is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related field Experience in government-backed digital transformation projects

(sports domain preferred)

Certifications in Cloud Architecture / Agile / Enterprise Architecture Experience working in a

product-based

company
