Role Purpose
Supports in refining and implementing criteria for IT infrastructure in a single domain area!
Responsibilities:

• Handle Primary and Standby databases using Data Guard.
• Perform database failover and switchover processes.
• Configuring Physical, Active Data Guard, and Snapshot standby databases and resolving related issues.
• Apply performance tuning techniques to optimize database performance.
• Possess experience in reorganizing tables and indexes.
• Resolve issues related to query slowness, CPU/RAM utilization, and other performance concerns.
• Install and configure Oracle databases, including versions 19c, 18c, 12c, and 11g.
• Lead and implement database upgrades from older versions to more recent releases.
• Perform database migrations from SUN SOLARIS to the Linux Platform.
• Performing data refresh using datapump & RMAN.
• Work with AWS services such as VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, DMS, and CloudWatch.
• Migrating Oracle databases to PostgreSQL in AWS.
• Experienced in UNIX Shell Scripting, automating various DBA activities.
• Oracle database clustering and fix node eviction issues.
• Using OEM for scheduling backups and solving issues.
• Have working experience in a 24/5 production environment.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 6 years of Oracle DBA experience.
• Experience with Dataguard, RAC, ASM, RMAN and OEM
• Expertise in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience in handling Oracle databases on the AWS cloud platform.
• Familiar with AWS cloud services and proficiency in database migration procedures.
• Proficient in installing and upgrading Oracle databases across versions 19c, 18c, 12c, and 11g.
