Job Title: Backend Developer (PHP / Node.js)About the Role

We are looking for a skilled

Backend Developer

with expertise in

PHP

and

Node.js

to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services, APIs, and databases that power our web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using

PHP

(Laravel / other frameworks) and

Node.js

. Design and build

RESTful APIs

/

GraphQL APIs

for frontend and third-party integrations. Write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices. Manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) including schema design and optimization. Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices. Ensure scalability, high availability, and performance of backend systems. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions. Debug, troubleshoot, and fix issues in production environments. Stay up-to-date with new backend technologies and frameworks.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in

PHP

(Laravel, Symfony, or other frameworks). Hands-on experience with

Node.js

(Express.js, NestJS, or similar). Good understanding of

database design

and experience with

SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)

and

NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis)

databases. Experience building and consuming

RESTful APIs

and

GraphQL APIs

. Knowledge of

authentication & authorization

(JWT, OAuth, Passport). Familiarity with

version control (Git)

and CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of

scalability, caching strategies, and performance optimization

. Strong problem-solving skills and debugging abilities.

Nice to Have

Experience with

microservices architecture

. Knowledge of

Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms

(AWS, GCP, Azure). Familiarity with

message queues

(RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS). Experience with

testing frameworks

(PHPUnit, Mocha, Jest). Knowledge of

DevOps practices

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per year
