Job Title: TeamLeader-SoftwareDevelopment
Location: Noida/Chennai/Mumbai
:
- Own the entire delivery of assigned projects
- Manage multiple projects involving a 5-8 member team
- Ensure end-to-end delivery, controlling project delivery metrics throughout the project lifecycle
- Track project requirements and implementation phases
- Participate in business meetings, review contracts, conduct risk analysis and mitigation
- Prepare and review system architecture, external/internal specifications, software development plans, project plans, and technical documentation
- Provide weekly status updates to all stakeholders
- Ensure process and system compliance
- Manage escalation issues, internal or external
- Handle both Fixed Price Projects (FPP) and Time & Material (T&M) projects
- Coordinate and communicate with clients on project-related matters
- Mentor and support team members
- Conduct performance appraisals and counseling for team members
- Evaluate and implement technical and managerial training needs
- Ensure compliance with Newgen Quality Systems and Procedures
Desired Profile:
- B.E/B. Tech (CS/IT), MCA, or equivalent with 4-6 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of SOAP/Rest API, multithreading, web applications, and data structure
- Strong experience in Core Java, JSP, Servlets, EJB, Oracle/SQL
- Experience in banking retail loans and MSB (preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of system integration and configurable solution design
- Strong database knowledge (tables, stored procedures, queries, joins, performance tuning)
- Stakeholder management and customer request prioritization
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including handling performance issues, grievances, and team motivation
- Proficient in critical thinking, adaptability, time management, and effective communication
