Purpose of the Role

Executing QC activities including calibration of Instruments and Gauges, creation of new measuring facility and maintenance, and Inspection of Customer components during trails Ensure the highest quality output that meets customers' expectations in the most cost-effective manner, through quality control activities with respect to Parts Mfg., along with action planning for identified gaps

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Monitor critical quality metrics and parameters required to meet profitability and customer satisfaction targets Execute QC activities that translates to reduction of AFR and COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) Execution of gauge receipt and update records for the gauges and instruments and perform calibration as per standard. Review the calibration pending status and escalate to concern department. Ensure and maintain the gauge room cleanliness as per SOP Support for Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility study as per plan (MSA) Maintain calibration records of instruments and gauges. Provide new measuring facility based on parts manufacturing requirement. Getting drawing number for new instruments and gauges from item master department. Maintain & update QMS ISO 9001 records relevant to the calibration and actions for gap analysis. Implement Digital data capturing in critical resources for CTQ components. Execute customer components inspection during customer trails. Suggest and use the latest technologies and tools for Metrology Ensure TQM step-1 KHO implementation and conduct audit periodically in Metrology lab. * Collect quality data and identify trends and areas for improvement for action planning to fill the gaps
