Team Member - MIS

We have been retained by a well-established, large size NBFC in their search for a Team Member- MIS to join their Office in Mumbai.

The client is one of the recognized players in project and structured finance space for large corporates. With an intent to capitalize on the opportunities across all the segments in diversified sectors, the client is entering into the mid-market segment (catering to businesses with turnover of 500 - 1500 crores. and in different sectors like chemical, petrol chemical, manufacturing, textiles, paper, auto/auto ancillary, agro-chemical, hospitality, EdTech etc.,).

Qualification : MBA in Finance/CA

Industry Preference : Banking/NBFC

Job Role & Responsibilities :

- To collect MIS data from different functions, undertake analysis of standard data in predefined format and support the documentation and dissemination of reports generated for monitoring business performance & provide administrative support in order to ensure effective documentation and operations.

- The Accounts department manages the entire accounting, budgeting, planning and MIS systems of the company and is responsible for depicting true state of affairs of business & fulfilling all statutory obligations for business continuance. This includes finalization, audit & analysis of books of accounts, tax computations & filing tax returns under Income tax, VAT & Service tax acts & adherence to statutory regulations of RBI, SEBI & Companies Act.

- The Team member MIS is responsible for timely and accurate capture of information required to undertake various MISs to internal and external stakeholders. He also engages in preparation of the annual financial budgets, conducting reconciliations, creating presentations and preparing data charts and action item lists in the process.

- The major challenges in this role are timely availability of accurate information and meeting stiff reporting timelines.

- The critical skill sets required to meet these challenges are strong analytical & presentation skills, good hold over MIS related IT skills and detailed orientation, and also be well versed with Finnone applications.
