Role and Responsibilities : . Establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies, procedures and internal controls. . Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls. Managing fixed assets, performing accounting procedures like capitalization, asset verification . To ensure compliance of DOA (Delegation of Authority) at the site level and compliance of applicable tax laws applicable such as TDS, GST etc. . Concurrence on plant level contracts, financial evaluation of operating & capex initiatives. . Conducting periodic review of risks and ensuring all the risks are adequately insured for. . Ensure thorough scrutiny of General ledger line items are done on a monthly basis and ensure financial reflect the correct state of affairs of the business. . To maintain of Financial & Cost records in an accurate manner and ensure control over day to day accounting matters and plant financial operations . To work closely with the internal and external auditors for conduct of audits as per the schedule and also to ensure timely closure of activities / action plans as reported by the Auditors . Prepares budgets by establishing schedules collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data recommending plans. . Achieve budget objectives by scheduling expenditures analyzing variances initiating corrective actions. . To liaison with other appropriate Govt. Authorities, Banks etc as applicable from the plant operations point of view. . Prepare and analyze monthly management reports for discussions with Plant leadership team. . Tracking working capital and managing capital employed efficiently . Working closely with Cross functional team in cost reduction initiatives . Evaluate and periodically measure the financial impact of various cost / working capital reduction initiatives at the plant level. . Establishing necessary processes and review mechanism and ensuring timely payment to all vendors. Functional Competencies: . Establishing Internal Controls and Compliance .
