Job Title: Team Lead, Global Policies

Role Purpose Statement
The position helps ensure Bunge's (BG's) global policies and procedures framework, a key part of Bunge's internal control environment, is compliant with the Internal Control - Integrated Framework (2013) issued by the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO). Specifically, the position helps ensure BG maintains a robust, current, comprehensive policy and procedural manual that helps safeguard the company's assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Key Interfaces: Internal - External

• Internal: Global Controlling and Tax; Regional Internal Controls/SOX teams; Bunge Business Services (shared service center) leadership; Other global functional leads (Treasury, Risk, Legal, HR, etc.), Global Internal Audit; BT.
• External: Deloitte; Consultants (e.g. financial advisory, IT).

Policy Setting/compliance:

• Facilitate drafting of applicable policies and procedural guidelines to strengthen governance to codify risk avoidance plans.
• Review draft policies (new and revised) for compliance with Bunge policy framework elements.
• Identify areas of policy gaps or updates required to ensure continued relevance of policies within the organization Work closely with departments and stakeholders to gather input, ensure understanding and gain buy-in for policy changes and updates
• Assist with policy governance activities related to mergers and acquisitions.
• Support on independent reviews to ensure that policy compliance issues within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.
• Support development of a mechanism for reporting compliance status and receiving feedback on the effectiveness of policies and procedures, and use this information to make improvements

Communication:

• Clarifying and providing framework for policy development and refreshes.
• Publishing and maintaining policies on the Bunge Policy Portal.
• Enabling timely reviews of Bunge policies, while ensuring compliance with the Bunge policy framework.
• Metrics reporting on policy governance activities.
• Assist with developing policy trainings or communications as needed, including onboarding training for new employees.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Competencies

• Accounting BS/BA degree, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor preferred
• 3 to 4 years of work experience in Controlling, Internal Audit or Internal Controls, preferably with exposure of policy development/management.
• Working knowledge of COSO internal controls framework.
• Computer literate: MS Office experience.
• Travel: Approximately 10% of the time.
