Job description - Team Leader- Sourcing Mission For this we need to have much focus on world class localized products to meet global business requirements to meet sustainable profitable growth. It is also our expectation for on Time Delivery, Zero Defects and with competitive cost locally as well globally to drive cost efficiency. To achieve this, we would like to have most knowledgeable and experienced key resource having strong background of strategic Sourcing, Global supply chain, low cost high quality procurement, new vendor development to meet high specification short timeline highly challenging projects. You will be reporting to Manager-Sourcing Job description - - Through detailed and accurate business and market analysis, determine, monitor, implement and adapt the most optimal sources of the goods and services required to meet the pre-budget target. - Follow up procedure to ensure compliance to product specifications, quality, delivery ad cost expectations. - Special focus to be put on supplier development and supplier quality system in order to guarantee a sustainable, reliable and global quality supply chain. - Implement & follow strong process timely and transparently to monitor department and supplier performance in terms of its impact on the company reputation, profitability and working capital. - Continuously drive & follow cost reduction initiative to meet sourcing pre-post target as per market evolution. - Ensure collaborative interaction with all department to ensure highly efficient and effective operations to meet revenue and profit targets. - Work closely with Production, Quality, Project to ensure seamless deliveries of right material with right quality and exactly when it is required to keep delivery performance of the projects above 95%. - Support Vendor evaluation, rating, development, quality improvement with zero defect initiative from SHEQ point of view and monitoring them as per group requirement - Ensure expediting to ensure on time and first time right product from various vendors to meet gap India business demand in coordination with various stakeholders - To monitor and control allotted projects and able to act on lagging activities to put them back on track - To liaise and co-ordinate as required with all concerned parties to ensure clear communications - Devise and implement necessary tools and systems in line with the Group directives packaging Process and technology - Ensure spirit of transparency, open communication, fairness, non-discrimination, and respect for the individual in all areas of operations and with all stakeholders. - Continuously work toward a more efficient, leaner transparent, digital and operationally reliable process which are not dependant on individuals - Safeguard integrity and transparency of operations and of the legal structure by making sure that FAM and BCOP of practices is understood and applied where relevant. - Embrace sustainable goal of group to reduce co2 emission and also explore product circularity as per divisional set goals. - Work as per 'The Atlas Copco Way' and ' Business code of practice ' Experience requirements -Comprehensive technical knowledge about product, procurement, supply chain, commercial and technical acumen to execute tailor-made projects having experience of compressors, pump and expansion turbines. -- Experience of or Project Procurement related to Gas & Process Turbo compressors & Expanders handling for 10 years plus would be added advantages -Strong interpersonal communication skills -Total experience desired will be in the region of 12-15 years Knowledge - Strong commercial contract conditions and supply chain management knowledge -Sound knowledge in new supplier development, manufacturing process, global supply chain, planning and system will be an added advantage. Educational requirements - University degree in Engineering or equivalent in any discipline - Be fluent English and other Indian languages Personality requirements - Good team leader and player who is able to also motivate and drive stakeholder's team - Be able to adapt in lean and pursuing model - Be sensitive to understand stakeholder's perspective and be an active communicator both within and outside of the organization - Should have an aggressive attitude to initiate new testing and development activities as required by the Division Country and city description India,Pune Diverse by nature and inclusive by choice Bright ideas come from all of us.
