The Team Leader - LBO is responsible for leading a team of investment professionals focused on sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing leveraged buyout transactions. The role combines strategic oversight, financial expertise, and people leadership to drive high-quality deal execution and portfolio performance.
Identify and cultivate relationships with advisors, bankers, industry experts, and potential target companies.
Generate a high-quality deal pipeline aligned with the firm's investment strategy.
Lead initial screening and assessment of potential LBO opportunities.
2. Transaction Execution
Oversee and guide the team throughout the full LBO deal cycle.
Lead financial modeling, valuation analysis, capital structure design, and due diligence.
Coordinate with external advisors: legal, financial, tax, commercial, and technical consultants.
Prepare and present investment memoranda to the Investment Committee.
3. Portfolio Management
Monitor financial and operational performance of portfolio companies.
Work closely with management teams to implement value-creation initiatives.
Identify risks, track KPIs, and recommend strategic actions to maximize returns.
Support refinancing, add-on acquisitions, and exit planning.
4. Team Leadership & Development
Manage, mentor, and develop analysts, associates, and senior associates.
Allocate resources and ensure the team adheres to best-practice processes.
Conduct performance reviews and create development plans.
5. Strategy & Process Optimization
Contribute to investment strategy formulation and market research.
Improve LBO frameworks, tools, and processes for higher deal execution efficiency.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and governance standards
