Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Team Leader - Telesales
to manage, motivate, and drive a team of telesales executives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, ensuring high-quality customer interactions, and maintaining compliance with insurance and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and supervise a team of telesales executives
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for insurance products
Monitor live calls and provide regular feedback, coaching, and training
Ensure high conversion ratios and productivity of the team
Handle escalated customer queries and objections professionally
Maintain discipline, attendance, and performance standards of the team
Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines, company policies, and call quality norms
Coordinate with operations, underwriting, and backend teams for smooth policy issuance
Prepare and submit daily MIS, performance reports, and call analytics
Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training of new telesales executives
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong experience in
Insurance Telesales (Motor/Health Insurance)
Excellent communication and people-management skills
Target-driven and result-oriented mindset
Ability to motivate and retain sales teams
Sound understanding of insurance products and sales processes
Knowledge of CRM systems and dialer tools
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred)
Minimum
3 years of experience in insurance telesales

1 year as Team Leader
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
