Job Category: General ManagementDegree Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent:Position Purpose :The Restricted Party Screening (RPS) Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the RPS team, ensuring accurate and timely screening of customers, vendors, dealers and other required parties and transactions against sanctions, PEP lists and other restricted party list. This role involves leading a team of analysts, providing guidance on complex screening issues, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. The Team Lead will also be responsible for monitoring team performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process enhancements to optimize efficiency and accuracy. This position is vital in safeguarding the organization from financial crime and reputational risk.Responsibilities:Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Management:
  • Document and maintain Service Level Agreement (SLA) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the RPS team.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Oversee the daily screening operations, ensuring timely and accurate screening.
  • Review and resolve potential match or escalated to appropriate team.
  • Conduct audit of completed screening records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant regulations and sanctions lists (e.g., OFAC, EU, UN).
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, Supervise, mentor, and train the RPS analysts.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, sanctions laws, and internal policies.
  • Assist and complete the GAO, MCRP, TL DRG audits.
  • Process Improvement & Optimization:
  • Identify opportunities including automation to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the screening process.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
  • Generate and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to RPS activities.
  • Prepare reports for management on screening volumes, resolution times, and other relevant metrics.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration:
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders (e.g., RPS IT, DPA, Compliance, and business units) on RPS matters.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide guidance and support.
Nice to have skills:
  • Regulatory Knowledge and compliance of AML, KYC, OFAC, PEPs
Technical knowledge in process automation (RPA / DPA)Qualifications:
  • Educational qualification - Any Bachelor's degree
  • Team leader experience for more than three years within the past five years is preferred.
  • Available to work night shifts and weekends, specifically 6:00 PM to 3:30 AM and 8:00 PM to 5:30 AM.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivity.
  • Possesses project management experience.
  • Has experience developing and implementing compliance programs, conducting investigations, and providing training.
  • Able to effectively work with global team.
  • Strong analytical abilities in Identifying and addressing complex compliance issues.
  • Motivating and developing a high-performing compliance team
  • Networking and engaging with different compliance stakeholders
  • Possesses strong communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders, build partnerships, negotiate effectively and communicate strategic direction
